Sik Fret

Sik Fret is formed of 4 band members, Jake Donaldson, Luke Potton, James Rumble and Jacob Leach. They formed in 2005 when drummer Jacob joined. They enjoy writing and playing their own material. Also in 2005 former singer Will Blackett left and was replaced with current singer Luke Potton. They are fairly experienced at playing live and enjoy it thouroughly.

Sik Fret are currently part of the live and direct Project

Live and Direct is led by the needs and trends of our young people and this reflected in the music that is created. We only create original music and current styles include rock, pop, grime, hip-hop, RnB, drum n bass and metal. The programme is led by music industry professionals and is delivered in ten-week blocks, three times per year. There is normally an end of term gig, the chance to make a CD, gain an Open College Network (OCN) accreditation and each year a showcase event is held called Euphonic to celebrate the range of talent and musical diversity in the project.
